Karmarong Dorje

Dorje Karmarong explores his roots in Karmarong culture through various mediums such as painting, music and writing. He has studied Buddhism at the Samye Monastery in Kathmandu and teaches thangka painting in and outside Nepal. He also has experience painting thangka murals in gumbas in countries like Vietnam, India, Sri Lanka, Nepal and Singapore. Also, he has written two books about the Karmarong community and its culture.
